    How do I become a Coast Rewards member?
    Enroll online, call 1-800-549-9099 or fill out an enrollment form at any Coast hotel.

    How long does it take for my Coast Rewards membership card to arrive?
    You should receive your permanent Coast Rewards card and detailed enrollment information within 2-4 weeks after your enrollment form has been received.

    Can I earn Coast Rewards before I receive my permanent membership card in the mail?
    Yes. You will receive a temporary card to use until your permanent card arrives in the mail approximately 2-4 weeks after your enrollment form has been received. Enjoy all the benefits and earn points immediately using your temporary card.

    Does Coast Rewards membership cost anything?
    No. Coast Rewards membership is free.

    How do I earn Coast Rewards points?
    Every pretax dollar you spend towards applicable rates or packages at Coast Hotels & Resorts, including room and dining charges, earns Coast Rewards points.

    What are the benefits of Coast Rewards?
    Coast Rewards points can be redeemed for vacation packages, complimentary stays, room upgrades and valuable merchandise. Each membership level is also entitled to additional guest privileges at each stay.

    How do I become a Silver, Gold or Platinum member?
    The more you visit Coast Hotels & Resorts, the more your benefits and points accumulate. Eligible applicants will be automatically enrolled at the Silver level and moved up to Gold and Platinum levels as soon as they qualify for the next level. Qualification is based upon the number of nights a member stays during the one year period immediately following enrollment (anniversary period). The number of nights needed to re-qualify on an annual basis is 1-14 for Silver status, 15-39 for Gold Status and greater than 40 nights for Platinum. Your newly earned standing, should your status change, will be in effect for the following one year period.

    How do I make a reservation easily that ensures I qualify for Coast Rewards points?
    To ensure you earn Coast Rewards points, reserve in any of the following easy ways:

    • Book online now by providing your Coast Rewards number or User ID.
    • Call the dedicated Coast Rewards reservation line at 1-800-549-9099.
    • Book through your travel agency.
    • Call the Coast hotel directly.
    Reservations made in advance through third party online reservations systems, such as web sites where you pay the online company in advance or web sites or tour operators where a hotel is chosen for you, may not be eligible for point accumulation.

    What can I redeem my points for?
    You can redeem your Coast Rewards points for complimentary stays, room upgrades, vacation packages, gift certificates and merchandise. View our complete Rewards Catalogue for great ways to redeem your points.

    Can I choose to receive Alaska Airline Miles instead of Coast Rewards points?
    Yes. You can choose between collecting Coast Rewards points or Alaska Airline Miles. This choice between points or miles may only be modified once annually and is done through your online account.

    What is "Preferential Treatment" and how do I receive it?
    By listing your individual preferences when you enroll, you receive preferred service, the way you expect it, each time you visit. When enrolling, you are prompted to fill out your Personal Profile which includes information on your room and service preferences. You can update this information at any time through your online Coast Rewards account using your private password.

    How do I log in to my Coast Rewards account for the first time?
    The letter you received with your permanent membership card includes important password information for the first time you log in to your account. Go to the Member Login/Logout area on www.coastrewards.com and follow the easy instructions:

    1. Enter your membership number and your temporary password.
    2. Change your password once you are logged in.
    3. Select "Preferences" from the Main Menu and complete your individual preferences.
    What does my online Coast Rewards account allow me to do?
    You can easily make reservations, check your point balance and account history, redeem points and update your Personal Profile. Your account is password protected and can only be accessed by you.

    How do I keep track of my account activity?
    You will receive quarterly statements in the mail outlining your account activity. Alternately, you can check your account online at any time.

    How do I sign up for the Coast Rewards Monthly Email Newsletters?
    Make sure that your current email address is added to your profile. Log in to your account online and verify or call Member Services at 1-800-549-9099 to add to your email address to your profile.

    What is the benefit of receiving the Monthly Email Newsletters?
    You will have access to all the monthly specials and you will be updated on any important messages and/or changes to the program.

    How do I redeem my points?
    Easily redeem your points at the time of reservation or check-in for complimentary stays and room upgrades.

    Travel packages, gift certificates and merchandise can be redeemed online or by calling 1-800-549-9099. Simply follow the easy instructions to choose your reward. Travel rewards must be reserved at least 21 days in advance. Please allow 3 to 4 weeks for delivery of redemption items.

    Can I give my reward to someone else?
    Yes. You can make arrangements by calling 1-800-549-9099.

    How long does it take to receive my redemption items?
    Please allow 3 to 4 weeks for delivery of redemption items. Ensure your certificates are kept safely, as duplicates will not be issued.

    Do my hotel gift certificates expire?
    Hotel gift certificates expire 12 months after their date of issuance.  Ensure you use your hotel gift certificates within 12 months of issuance to avoid losing their value.

    How do I notify Coast of updates to my contact information?
    Please notify Coast Hotels & Resorts in writing of any membership updates to ensure the continued delivery of Coast Rewards Services and Guarantees. Or go online to Coastrewards.com and make the changes in your account. All membership updates and applications will be processed at Coast Rewards Administration Office, 900-1090 West Georgia Street, Vancouver, BC V6E 3V7 Fax: 604-682-8942.

    Can I be reimbursed for my points once I've redeemed them?
    It is not possible to reimburse your account for points that have already been redeemed.

    How long does my Coast Rewards membership last?
    Your account is reviewed annually and reinstated as long as you have stayed with Coast Hotels & Resorts at least one night during your enrollment year. If you have not stayed at least one night, your points are lost and cannot be reinstated. We are happy to re-enroll you as a new Silver member should you return after the one year period.

    How will you use the credit card and personal information I provide to you?
    The credit card information you provide at the time of reservation is kept strictly confidential and will be used for processing all charges, guaranteeing late arrival and facilitating express check-in and check-out, unless alternative arrangements have been made, on each occasion.

    Unless otherwise indicated, all information you provide on your application will be used only for Coast promotional programs and to improve services at Coast Hotels & Resorts.

    Can I share my account with another person?
    No, memberships are applicable only to individuals and points are non-transferable. Employees of one company may not apply for one company card under the company or organizations name. This program is only available to individual travelers.
