MEMBERSHIP BENEFITS AND GUIDELINES
59 Second Check-In Guarantee
As a Silver member, you are guaranteed a 59 Second Check-in* after
3:00 p.m. Simply pick up your pre-registered envelope and key for
your reserved accommodation at the "Check-in Center" located at the
front desk. All charges from each stay will be processed to your
credit card, given at the time of reservation, unless alternative
arrangements are made, on each occasion. We guarantee a 59 Second
Check-In under these terms, or you receive your choice of that
night free or 500 Coast Rewards points.
*59 second check-in is not guaranteed when redeeming points at the
time of check-in.
Members making a reservation and arriving at the
hotel within 24 hours of making the reservation are not entitled to
the 59 second check-in guarantee.
Complimentary Newspaper
A complimentary newspaper is available at the front desk.
Express Check-out
Your final statements will be delivered to your room by 6:00 a.m.
on your planned check-out day. A statement with charges incurred
after this time will be mailed to the address provided.
Second Person in Room - No Charge
Your immediate family members (spouse, children, mother, father,
sister and brother) may occupy the same room at no charge. There
may be an added charge if a rollaway bed is required.
May not apply to group bookings.
National Car Rental
As a Coast Rewards member, you receive special rates in Canada and
the US, subject to availability. To receive your special rate, your
ID number must be quoted at the time of reservation. Special Rates
- Contract ID# 3711257.
In addition, our members receive complimentary enrollment in the
Emerald Club, a program that offers priority service, recognition
and rewards for renting with National. To enroll in Emerald Club,
simply visit any National location or register online at
www.nationalcar.ca.

Preferential Treatment
Update your personal profile online when
enrolling and you are
guaranteed preferred service, the way you expect it, each time you

Priority Waitlist
Receive priority waitlist placement when the hotel is sold out.
Rate Guarantee
Members are entitled to best available daily rate at
the time of reservation at all hotels. These rates are
only available for individual travel. For group rates, please
contact your Coast Hotels Sales Representative. Rates are subject
to change without notice.
Wake Up Call Guarantee
You are guaranteed to receive your wake up call on time or receive
your choice of that night free or 500 Coast Rewards points.
RULES AND REGULATIONS
Accumulating Points
Points accumulate upon receipt of completed membership application.
Points accumulate for qualified room rates and incidental charges
that appear on the guest folio at the time of check-out.
In order to receive points, you must pay for all your room charges.
Reservations made in advance through third party reservation
systems, such as web sites where you pay the online company in
advance or web sites or tour operators where a hotel is chosen for
you, may not be eligible for point accumulation. All rates booked
through www.coasthotels.com and Coast Hotels' toll-free
reservations are eligible for point accumulation unless it is
stated otherwise.
May not apply to group bookings.
Redemption stays are not eligible for point accumulation. Points
are non-refundable, non-transferable and may not be combined with
another member's card.
Membership points will expire after 12 months of non-hotel
use.
Redeeming Points
Travel rewards must be reserved at least 21 days in advance.
Certificate must be presented to the hotel at check-in. When
reserving a travel reward, all travelers'
names must be provided at the time of reservation. Call
1-800-549-9099 if you would like to give a specific reward to
another person. Hotel gift certificates expire 12
months after issuance. Travel packages and retail
choices are subject to change without notice.
For real-time redemptions, you must be staying at the hotel in
order to redeem points, as you will be asked for identification.
When redeeming an upgrade, your reserved room type will be upgraded
one room type level at the time of reservation, subject to
availability. Specialty suites are not eligible for upgrade
redemption.
Once redeemed, points are non-recoverable to your membership
account.
Benefits may not apply when staying at group rates.
Allow 3 to 4 weeks for delivery of redemption items. Please
ensure your certificates are kept safely as duplicates will not be
issued.
Membership Updates
Please notify Coast Hotels & Resorts in writing of any
membership updates and credit card renewals to ensure the continued
delivery of Coast Rewards Services and Guarantees. All membership
updates and applications will be processed at Coast Rewards
Administration Office, 900-1090 West Georgia Street, Vancouver, BC
V6E 3V7 Attention: Coast Rewards.
Participating Hotels
All Coast Rewards Silver membership services are available at
participating hotels. Membership guidelines, participating hotels
and benefits may be subject to change without notice. Full Coast
Rewards benefits may not be available at all Resort locations.
Membership Eligibility and Renewal
Membership in the Coast Rewards program is at the discretion of
Coast Hotels & Resorts. Eligible applicants will be
automatically enrolled at the Silver level and moved up to Gold and
Platinum levels as the qualification requirements are met.
Qualification is based upon the number of nights during the
one-year period following enrollment and earned standing will be in
effect for the following one-year period. The number of
nights needed to re-qualify on an annual basis is 1-14 for Silver
status, 15-39 for Gold and more than 40 nights for
Platinum. Coast Hotels & Resorts reserves the right to refuse
or terminate membership at any time. The Coast Rewards Silver card
is the property of Coast Hotels & Resorts. Benefits and
participating hotels are subject to change without notice.
Privacy
The credit card information you provide at the time of
reservation is kept strictly confidential and will be used for
processing all charges, guaranteeing late arrival and facilitating
express check-in and check-out, unless alternative arrangements
have been made, on each occasion.
The customer profile information you provide is used to facilitate
customer recognition when you visit Coast Hotels & Resorts
locations and our web site. You may view, modify or delete your
profile at any time by using your private password. This
information is stored in a secure environment and will not be
shared outside of Coast Hotels & Resorts, its published
partners and affiliates.
Unless otherwise indicated, all information you provide on your
application will be used only for promotional programs and to
improve services at Coast Hotels & Resorts.
Coast Rewards member information will be made available only to
Coast Hotels & Resorts and its published partners and
affiliates and to companies contracted for the purposes of program
administration. The companies are bound by confidentiality
agreements.
