The City of Terrace is situated on the banks of the Skeena River in an area renowned for some of the world's most exciting steelhead and salmon fishing.

While nearby lakes and rivers offer great variety for the fishing enthusiast, hikers will find trails to suit every level. Adventurers have the opportunity to spot some of the area's unique wildlife, including the cream colored Kermodei Bear, also known as the "Spirit Bear".
