One lucky hotel patron will drive away in a brand new $17,000
2009 Dodge Calibre SE this Tuesday evening as the winner of the
Coast Plaza Hotel & Conference Centre’s
“Wheelie Big Deal” customer appreciation
promotion.
The “Wheelie Big Deal” promotion was
launched in June 2008 at a European festival-themed gala held in
the Coast Plaza Hotel & Conference Centre’s 11,256
square-foot grand ballroom. Eligible hotel patrons were invited to
enter the car draw by submitting completed ballots between June 9,
2008 and June 1, 2009. Guests who booked rooms at the Coast Plaza
Hotel & Conference Centre or booked an event between those
dates received additional ballots for the car draw.
"The customer appreciation reception was just our small way of
expressing our heartfelt appreciation to customers and guests to
let them know how much we value their business,” said
Karim Ismail, General Manager of the Coast Plaza Hotel &
Conference Centre. “Our customers’ ongoing
support and patronage really drive our business, so we thought a
car giveaway was an appropriate way to say thank you.”
On Tuesday, June 9, the Coast Plaza Hotel & Conference Centre
will once again hold a European festival-themed gala, complete with
wine, fish and cheese mongers, artists, a fortune teller, door
prizes and much more, to announce the winner of the Wheelie Big
Deal car draw. More than 350 invited guests are expected to attend
the event. Twenty of the invited guests, who were drawn from
submitted ballots, will receive car keys, one of which will open
the door of the 2009 Dodge Calibre SE for the lucky winner.
The car draw will set the stage for this year’s
customer appreciation promotion, where hotel patrons will be
eligible to win a trip for two to Maui, Hawaii including a
week’s accommodation at the Maui Coast Hotel, car
rental for a week and $1,000 spending money. The Maui vacation draw
will take place in June 2010.
